Private Stages - Photos

The shown work is part of a series which uses partly private and partly amateurful produced photographs of nudes from the internet.

In these pictures the main subject – the nude person – is removed by computer manipulation. That simple computer-aided interference leads the view to so far unimportant and casual details. The former pinup-photo becomes an interieur. The background which used to be the stage for the vanished actress becomes the subject of the image. The more or less unconsciously depicted scenery allows a view into private space.

The process of the manipulation remains visible with dots and circles as well as the silhouette of the vanished nude is still to be recognized.
